In this Privacy Policy, “TMPI,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to TMPI MERAKI LTD.
Our learning platform is hosted using LearnWorlds. In relation to learner data processed for the operation of our academy, TMPI MERAKI LTD is the data controller and LearnWorlds (CY) Ltd generally acts as our data processor.
2. Personal data we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Services.
2.1 Account and registration information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Account credentials
- Account preferences
- Profile photograph, if you voluntarily add one
- Country or professional information, if requested
Your account password is managed through the LearnWorlds platform. We do not have access to your password in readable form.
2.2 Social sign-in information
If you register or sign in using Google, Facebook, LinkedIn or Apple, the selected provider may send us information permitted by you, such as:

- Email address
- Profile identifier
- Profile photograph
We do not receive the password you use with the social sign-in provider. The provider also processes information under its own privacy policy.
2.3 Purchase and billing information
When you purchase a course or another service, we may collect:

- Billing address or country
- Course or product purchased
- Price, currency and payment status
- Invoice and transaction details
- Information needed to calculate and report applicable taxes
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store complete payment-card details.
2.4 Learning and course activity
When you use the academy, we may process information including:
- Courses in which you are enrolled
- Course progress and completion
- Lessons and resources accessed
- Assessment answers and results
- Certificates and qualifications earned
- Time spent using learning activities
- Attendance at live sessions

We use this information to provide the educational service, remember your progress, issue certificates where applicable and support your learning.
2.5 Community and user-generated content
If you use our community, discussion or comment features, we may collect and display:
- Your chosen profile name and photograph

Information posted in an area identified as public or visible to other learners may be seen by those users.
You must not upload identifiable patient information, confidential clinical records or personal data about a child or another third party unless you have a valid legal basis and any required permission. Clinical examples should be appropriately anonymised.
2.6 Testimonials and reviews
If you submit a review or give us permission to publish a testimonial, we may use the approved content together with information such as your name, profession, country or photograph.
Where a testimonial is used publicly for promotional purposes, we will rely on your consent or another documented lawful basis. You may contact us if you want to withdraw permission for future publication.

- Website translation providers, if multilingual functionality is enabled

These recipients receive only the information reasonably necessary for their functions. Providers acting on our behalf are required to handle personal data under appropriate contractual and confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

- Transaction, invoice and tax information is retained for the period required by applicable Cyprus accounting and tax law.
- Course results and certificate records may be retained where necessary to verify a qualification or learning achievement.
- Community content remains available while the relevant community or account is active, unless it is removed earlier or must be retained for legal or moderation purposes.
- Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and maintain appropriate records.
- Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure that we respect your request.
- Public testimonials are retained until permission is withdrawn or the testimonial is no longer required, subject to material already lawfully published.

When information is no longer needed, it will be deleted, anonymised or securely isolated unless continued retention is legally required.

Certain rights are not absolute. For example, we may need to retain transaction information to meet tax obligations or retain information required for legal claims.
10. Automated decision-making and artificial intelligence
We do not currently make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects for learners.
If we introduce AI-assisted assessment or another significant automated decision-making process, we will provide additional information about:

- The purpose of the system
- How the outcome is produced
- Relevant limitations
- Whether human review is available
- The possible effect on the learner
11. Children
The Services are intended for adults aged 18 or over and for professional education. We do not knowingly permit children to create learner accounts or intentionally collect personal data directly from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal data to us without appropriate authorisation, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
The fact that our educational subject matter concerns paediatric care does not mean that the Services are directed to children.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
These measures include access controls, secure service providers, staff confidentiality requirements and security protections appropriate to the nature of the information processed.
